County Line has been an establishment in the Columbia River Gorge since 2017. The band is bringing original song craft, folk-ladened harmonies, fiery picking, and a lively presence to the Beer Garden Stage. Songwriter Matt Mesa weaves his tales into a fabric that enshrouds the moving pictures and social discourse of this thing we call life. His songs are sometimes funny, sometimes sad, sometimes folly; sometimes as biting as a paper cut, but always compelling and thought provoking. He is joined on stage by mandolinist and guitarist Kerry Williams and bassist Jeremy Hadden - both long time Gorge musicians and consummate pickers. Drummer Tim Ortleib rounds out and texturizes the music to a pleasant degree. The band blends elements of folk, rock, Americana, and bluegrass into a pleasure come of sound and stones.
